So Hannah continues to love accessories..especially shoes. She has a pair of glittery disney princess shoes that light up when she walks. She had to wear them all over Birmingham yesterday...along with 4 beaded necklaces. I wasn't able to get a picture but I am posting a picture of her in the shoes on another day. There is still never a dull moment around here! I will take some Easter pictures this weekend & hopefully post them soon.

Here are the famous princess shoes. Who needs pants?? Everybody girl knows it is all about the shoes!!!

Disney Vacation

We had a great time at Disney last week. The weather was a little chilly, but overall it was quite pleasant. As always, Hannah traveled well. She LOVED the bus rides to all the parks. She would stand at the bus stop & start yelling "BUS" as soon as she saw one round the corner. Meeting the Disney characters was fun. Hannah went right up to them & even 'high-fived' Goofy. However, when Goofy tried to hug her, apparently he crossed the line into her personal space & she screamed!

We spent one day in the Animal Kingdom. Hannah loves animals so this was a huge hit. We took the safari ride & she saw one of her favorite animals...the bippo (that's Hannah talk for hippo). Lots of time was spent in Magic Kingdom & Epcot, too. I'm posting some pictures. Enjoy!

Never a dull moment around the Campbell house! Hannah is such a curious & determined child. She knows what she likes & won't be convinced otherwise. She continues to accessorize her outfits (or diaper) as she chooses. She also insists on washing dishes & cooking with us. What a 'big help' she is!

We had a little snow yesterday. Everything closed early (except the operating room :-(
Lee had to pick up Hannah early from school. She had a Valentine's Party & was hopped up on sugar as well as cutting her 2 year molars. Therefore, the snow experience with her wasn't exactly fun. Oh well, maybe next time.

Early Christmas with the family

Angie & her children were here last weekend for an early Christmas gathering. It was great to see them. All of the girls are growing up way too fast!! I didn't take too many pictures. It's hard to get a 2.5 year old & an 18month old to hold still long enough!!

The 'big' girls had their hands full trying to keep the little ones still long enough for a snap shot.

Amber was giving a "Two for one" deal on the piggyback (or belly) rides!

So these days, dressing Hannah has become quite the chore. She seems to prefer a diaper & her accessory of choice....either shoes or a hat. Go figure. She wiggles & fusses until sometimes I decide it just isn't worth it to clothe the child. She is perfectly content to run around the house in the bare minimum. I have just one question.... Should I at least make her wear a jacket when we go to the grocery store?? ;-)

Here, she is seizing the opportunity to jump on her mattress when I'm attempting to change the sheet. She obviously chose rain boots as her accessory of the day.

Lock-up your computers! We frequently find her 'surfing' the web when we aren't looking.... once again in a diaper & accessory of choice.

Hannah is a big fan of bath time. We mention the word & she runs straight to the bathtub. I think it has something to do with all the bubbles. Hannah is more of a 'do-er' than a 'talker' but she loves to say the word BUBBLES!!

Several weeks ago we went to a local farm to the pumpkin patch. Here are a few pictures of the day. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hannah went from pumpkin to pumpkin until she found one that she could pick up.

She finally found one small enough. If you look closely, you can see mud on her cheeks.

Texas trip

Well, I'm slowly catching up from not having a computer so here are a few more pics. Hannah & I flew to Texas to visit my sister & her family a few weeks ago. As always, all the cousins had a great time playing together. Since it was a few weeks before Halloween, we went to the pumpkin patch. Ashley could go with us b/c she was getting certified in scuba diving (pretty impressive for a 16 year old!) but we had lots of fun. The trip was great & I look forward to them coming here in December.

Well, it has rained just about everyday for the last few weeks. That has kept us inside much more than we are used to. As always, Hannah finds some 'creative' ways to pass the time. She now loves to pull all of her clothes, socks, & shoes out of her drawers. I can't say that I enjoy putting them all back again and again and again! Needless to say, there will be more child safety locks placed. No real news just a few pics.

The clock says 6:54a.m. Hannah is ready for "school" but she seems to be wondering why anyone would be up this early.

When Hannah isn't pulling everything out of drawers, she's pulling everything out of her toy basket so she can sit in it.

Busy days of summer!

Well, we have had lots to do these last few weeks of summer. Hannah, as always, is quite the helper. She is really into putting things back where they belong. It sure would be nice if this lasted into her teenage years! She is definitely an independent thinker & doer. She doesn't like anyone to help her & melts down if she can't do it herself. (I have noooo idea where she gets that from! ;-) We celebrated Gran's (Lee's mom) & Papa's (my dad's) birthdays. Now, we are welcoming football season. 'Aunt' Ashley & baby Jake came & watched the Alabama game with us this past weekend. I'm sure there will be many more football gatherings this season! ROOOLLLL TIDE! Here are a few pics from the last few weeks.

'Cruisin vacation'

Well, we just got back from a Disney cruise. Yes, we took Hannah. She had a great time & didn't even mind the 9+ hour ride to Port Canaveral. She loves the water & enjoyed walking around on the top deck where she could feel the wind blow through her few wisps of hair! ;-) I have posted quite a few pics...hope you enjoy.

Well, I know that it's amazing that I'm posting twice in one day. Hannah is still napping so I thought I would go ahead and post a few pics from the 4th of July weekend. We hung around the house a lot but took Hannah to the zoo on Sat. She loved all the big animals & called them all "dog". :-)

Family Fun

Well, I have finally gotten around to posting some pics of the weekend with my family. It was fun to get together & watch the cousins play. (Ashley, we missed you lots). Campbell Chaos

This week was a crazy week at the Campbell household. Hannah was sick the first part of the week & ended up getting tubes put in her ears. She immediately felt sooooo much better that it led to a week full of silliness & renewed energy...and therefore 'Campbell chaos'! :-) Gran & Big Ed came & stayed a few days to help out. (Thanks a million you guys!) The end of the week has been spent with my family. My sister & 2 of her girls are visiting from Texas. Hannah & the girls are having a blast. I will post pics of them soon, but for now, here are a few pics of her from the first of the week. She was quite the ham!

Hannah's 1st birthday

Hannah turned 1 on Saturday. I still can't believe it, but this time last year, we were bringing home a 5 pound little girl from the hospital. We celebrated with grandparents, Aunts, & Uncles. She was quite entertaining...she has learned to dance, blow kisses, & practially run behind her doll stroller (although she isn't walking unassisted yet). The best part of the day was her eating her cake. She dove into it & barely left a crumb! Here are a few pics of the day. Thanks to everyone for all of the presents. :-)

Well, we are back from our first beach "vacation". We had a good time but are pretty tired. Hannah had a cold most of the week so she (nor her parents) didn't sleep well. We got out on the beach for a little while everyday but she really didn't get to enjoy until the last day when she finally was feeling better. We stayed with our good friends Scott & Elizabeth ( I think we are still friends after this crazy week, right??!! lol) They were troopers & helped us out with Hannie. Once she felt better, she loved the water & eating the sand. Here are a few pics.

We are headed to the beach on Tuesday. I was getting everything together today & as always, she insisted on 'helping' me pack! I will post some pics when we get back.

From the looks of this, I think we will be building lots of sand castles to knock over!

Hope everybod had a great Easter. As you can see above, Hannah enjoyed hunting Easter eggs. We went to Uncle Wes's & Aunt Brandi's for the afternoon. Brandi was hiding Easter eggs for her nephew & I had just uttered the words "just think, next year we will be hiding these for Hannah, too." Hannah began to wiggle to get out of my lap & crawled right over to a 'hidden' egg & picked it right up! She never misses a thing!

The Easter bunny brought Hannah a swing. Do you think she likes it?! :-)

Well, Hannah needed a place to hang her swing that the Easter bunny brought, so Lee HAD to build a deck for her. Ha! We are waiting on our swing to arrive. I also still have to plant something in the planters & to run up the pergola. I think we will be spending lots of time here.

9 month portraits

Lee & I took Hannah for her 9 month pictures last weekend. Yes, I know that she will be 10 months tomorrow, but it's just the best that a working girl could do. Hannah's wheels are constantly spinning so it was quite the challenge to get her to sit still long enough to take the pictures. I was constantly putting her back in place! She also has a new 'trick'....sticking her tongue out, which was capture numerous times in the photos. Needless to say, by the time it was all over, we were all exhausted....but we did manage to get some good pictures. Hope you enjoy.

Relaxing weekend

Today is a beautiful spring day. Lee is in the process of building a deck so Hannah & I sat outside to 'supervise' the process. In this picture, she is holding one of her favorite toys. I have no clue why she likes rubber duckies so much but we have them all over the house...from the bathtub to her crib. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Well, as you can see from above, Hannah has become quite the little helper. She is always "helping" me find any trash or lint on the floor, "helping" me organize my kitchen drawers, & in the above picture, she is "helping" me vacuum. Isn't funny how you spend all this money on toys and all they want is your stuff. :-)

The weather has been nice today & should be so for a few more days. I got Hannah out for a little fun in the sun. If you look really close in the pic, you might be able to see some of her teeth. She has gone from 0 to 6 teeth in the last 5 weeks! I think she is just in a race to get to table food....as she is always trying to "help" me eat mine!

Last weekend, Hannah & I took her first plane trip to see Aunt Angie, Uncle Ryan, & her cousins. She did great on the plane...slept the entire time both ways. I enjoyed seeing my girls. I do miss them now that they live in Texas. Amber & Ashley were a big help with entertaining Hannah and Natalie was great at sharing her toys with the "baby".

Snow Day

Hi, everyone. This is officially my first blog post. I haven't been good at emailing pics of Hannah so MAYBE I will be better at this. Hannah has grown so much over the last 8 months! I will try to post some old pics of her but today, it is all about the snow. Yes, it is March 1st & we woke up to 2 inches of snow. I know that doesn't seem like alot, but to those of us in Alabama, its huge! AND it was Hannah's first snow. We got her out for a few pics and when she napped, Lee & I had fun in the snow.
